Upcoming Events

Holy Spirit— The Christmas party will be Sunday, December 3.  Please sign up in the church vestibule and indicate the number of adults and children who will be attending.  The Church will furnish the meat, beverages, bread and butter.  Pot Luck Dinner!  Fun, food and fellowship something for everyone to enjoy.

→There are Salvation Army stockings to  be filled.  The age and gender is on the enclosed list that is to be attached to the stocking.  Please fill the stocking and return it by December 3rd.

My Relay for Life team is selling trays of cookies again this year and would love to have your support! The trays will consist of 3 dozen cookies: sugar, chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and this year we are adding peanut butter blossoms. The price is $25 per tray. Sign-Up sheets will be available in the back of the church. Contactless deliveries can be made to your home. Please provide me with your address and phone number when placing your order. We appreciate your support in finding a cure! Thank you,   Lauren Huffman

→Holy Spirit PSR is still in need of a teacher for the 3-4 grade class.  Since we have not had anyone volunteer to be the full time teacher, we are asking for volunteers to give whatever amount of time they can.  There is a calendar in the vestibule for those willing to help.  Please fill in your name on the Sunday(s) you are availble.  Whether you can give a month, a week, or scattered Sundays, your help is greatly needed and appreciated.  Lesson plans and support documents will be provided for those willing to help.

→The angel tree is up.  These are students from Monongah Elementary.  Each ornament is for one gift.  We are asking that you get only get one gift for each ornament that you select.  When you get more than one, that makes the number of gifts per child uneven and makes it seem unfair to others in the same family.  Wrap the gift and put the ornament on the outside.  Please return them no later than December 16th .

→The men of the Holy Name Society are again volunteering to ring the bells for the Salvation Army.  Beginning December 1st and ending December 16th they will be ringing the bells a total of nine days, in two hour increments.  There is a sign up sheet in the vestibule.  If you have any questions, see Buddy Sapp.

→We have been asked to fill stockings for the Salvation Army.  We have boys and girls ages 8—11.  Suggested items and instructions are in the stocking.  Please return them to the Church no later than December 3rd.
St. Anthony—Mission Activities Salvation Army Christmas stocking are available.  We have boys/girls age 8-11 this year.  Instructions are in the stockings. Stockings need to be returned to the church by December 3.

→Next weekend is food pantry weekend.  We are again gathering food for 10 Christmas food baskets. Brown bags with a suggestion list will be available on tables at the entrances. We will be collecting food until Dec 20 and we will assemble them on December 21st at noon.

→We will have a special collection on December 2nd & 3rd for the angel tree. Please mark your donation “Angel Tree”.  Thanks for your support.
